Jessica
March 11th 2005 - We met Jessica on the side of the
road as we were on the way to "Maui Taco" (yes there is a "Maui Tacos"
now in Salt Lake City). Jessica worked in the Mall in the food
court. She had left work early to get home so she could drive with her
Uncle to California. Her tire had blown out and had no spare (borrowed
car). We were able to help her. She was very appreciative and was such a
nice person. She spoke Spanish (as does Greg) as well as English. We had
a good conversation and took this picture just before she drove off.

The Winders
November 2004 - These are two of my favorite people
in the world. I served an LDS mission for my Church in San Diego,
CA Spanish Speaking mission way back in 1983-85. While my wife and I
were singing at a church meeting I saw these two in the Audience. The
Winders were my mission presidents way back then. I hadn't seen them
for 20 years. He was also my mother's mission president when she served
in the Family History Center in Salt Lake City a couple of years
previous. They had just returned from being the Nauvoo Temple
Presidents. We took this picture at the dinner after the meeting. It was
so fun to see them again. They were such a positive influence in my
mission. I was so glad Noni got to meet them.

Petersons
March 22nd 2005 - The Petersons (left above) were
here from Canada driving North from Arizona where they own some
property. My Friend Aaron (right above) and I were on our way to St.
George Utah (past Zions Park) to a business meeting. We stopped for
dinner and met this couple just leaving the restaurant. I stopped them
because of the Alberta Canada license plates (being a Canadian myself!).
We asked them how the Paradise restaurant was (in Fillmore, UT) as they
were just leaving. As Aaron is showing above, the sandwiches were great!
They were very pleasant and nice to talk to.

Christensen's
November 2nd 2006 - Met these nice guys sitting behind us at the BYU
vs Brock Basketball game. They were fun to visit with and Ron knew lots
about the team. We got great tickets from our neighbors, the Hancocks.
We were on the front row right under the basket. Good for pictures!
BYU blew out the Canadian team from Ontario 90-49. It was a good game to
see the 2nd and 3rd string players.
