Sister Winona Diego, Left just lost her husband, Francisco Diego Jr. The whole Branch was teary eyed over the loss of "Junior."

Elders Stewart and Dees, both from Arizona originally - Stewart is now from Utah. These missionaries have only been in Hana for 3 weeks.

Mary (Hanks) Clifford, Noni & Melia Henderson. It was a very emotional day for Mary as it was her last day before leaving to home.

Winona "Nona" Diego with Noni. She has been so strong as she just lost her husband. Winona has always had a big smile leading the music.

Clinton Diego - brother of Jr. Diego who just passed away. He really liked my camera and wanted to get one like it. He was very friendly and we visited for a long time after the meeting and at Winona's place that evening.

Dennis & Nancy Hughes from Holladay Utah. They were staying at Josie's Airport house that we stayed in last year. He is a Doctor. See Video

Chris & Mary Clifford, Greg & Noni. Cliffords visit Hana regularly for weeks at a time throughout the year.

Joyce (Diego) Phillips. Joyce is Jr. Diego's sister. One of the large Diego clan.

Fo was a Samoan who was in the Branch Presidency. He is a long term substitute teacher. He also coaches boys and girls basketball. He is married to Ramona Diego, Winona's daughter. See Video

The family gathered together for a fun sunday evening. They played card games and visited, and ate.

The family gets together each Sunday night at different family members houses. This was a meeting to plan the funeral services next Tuesday.

The family gathering was so fun to be a part of. They were very gracious to let us come.

This is the sign on their street. Many want to return to Tribal rule - or Royal rule again. There is a big movement to return Hawaii to the Hawaiians.
