Thursday February 16th 2006
Maury & Lisa got to go on a Helicopter ride (as a pilot, he can go for free if there is room). We then spent the afternoon snorkeling. It was wonderful! Lots of turtles and cool fish.  We were all tired after and spent the late afternoon at the condo and cooked steak and relaxed on the lawn chairs.

View of the Maalaea Harbor in early morning

The Grass is so green! No Snow to shovel, either. This is in front of the Milowai unit we stayed at. No beach, but good view.

Maury & Lisa were able to go on a Helicopter with Alex Air. The next few pictures are of the ride. They borrowed our camera, we borrowed Bryson!

Lisa & Maury (Noni's Brother) in front of the Alex Air Helicopter

Maury, Lisa & Bryson after a fun afternoon snorkeling by La Perouse Bay past Makenna Beach.

We saw great fish and swam with 10 turtles. About 75 yds out was the area known as "Turtle Town" that you stop at if you go on a snorkle to Molokini.

The Waterfall in front of the Grand Wailea (Soon to be the Waldorf Astoria - Name changed)

Bryson, Maury & Lisa in Paradise!

Greg & Noni at the Grand Wailea Waterfall. We stayed there in 2000 on our first trip over with an insurance Company I sold for. We had to tour again.

King Kamehameha... the one in the back!

These guys were in front of our Milowai condo. I couldn't figure out what they were doing...

I found out. Worms! These salt water worms can be dug up in the sand in the bay.

This guy got shovel duty. None of us could figure out exactly why. Especially him!

This guy was nice enough to show me the loot. The guy at the bottom was nice, but didn't want his picture taken.

Yummy. They used these as bait for fishing off the peir.

Want some?

It was hard work. At least for him!

Then you had to quickly pick out the worms.

They were different from earth worms... they had legs like a centipede.

We finished off the day relaxing at the condo. Greg cooked up some steak & ahi (tuna steaks) on the grill by the bay.

We had steak strips and A-1 Sauce. Much better than the worms I saw earlier!

We spent the evening listening to the lapping waves and watching the stars, and eating steak strips. It's a tough life, but someone has to do it!
