Greg was born and raised in Alberta, Canada.
Most of his relatives live in the Magrath area
of Southern Alberta. He has a sister in Nevada,
a brother in Indiana with a brother and a sister
in Magrath. His ancestors were Mormon Pioneers
that crossed the plains to Utah in the 1850's
but moved on to Southern Alberta to work on an
irrigation project for wages and land. Magrath
is predominantly a Mormon community with
descendents from Utah Pioneers. Greg went
to San Diego, CA on his mission for the LDS
church from 1983-85, Spanish speaking. After
attending Ricks College (BYU-Idaho now) he took
out permanent resident status and became a US
citizen in 2000.
Noni was born in Logan, Utah but grew up in
Snowflake, AZ. She has lots of relatives there,
but most of her immediate family live in Utah
now. Currently, her parents are serving an LDS
(Mormon) mission in Siberia (2004-06). She has a
sister in Oregon and a brother in Idaho. There
are 3 sisters and a brother in Utah now.
Other than the 5 years she lived in Ontario,
Canada with Greg & the boys from 1989-94, she
has lived all her life in Arizona, Idaho and
Utah. Oh yeah, a year after we were
married we lived in my mom's basement in
Magrath. Our oldest son Spencer was born in
Magrath.
