An Evening with the Leavitt Cousins
December 28th 2005

Noni got a call from Clay Leavitt who was visiting his sister Katura who lives here in Utah.  He told us some of their family was here visiting and invited us over to Katura's house. We had a great BBQ and got acquainted with Clay, Rene, Kirby & Katura and their families.  Rene is living in Idaho, Clay in Alberta Canada while Kirby and Katura live here in Utah.  It was so good to be with them. The food was great and it was fun visiting for the evening.  I have such fun memories of the Davies family reunions up in Leavitt, Alberta Canada as a child.  We were 2nd cousins, but they treated us as close cousins.  My Paternal Grandfather, Thomas Ivan Davies had a brother Lorenzo. Lorenzo is their Grandfather. So our Grandfathers are brothers. There. That is the genealogy lesson for the day!
