Gentry
We
are so excited for Gentry who has been named the
Valedictorian for the 2006 Graduating Class of Bingham
High school. He will be speaking at the graduation
on June 6th at 3pm at UVSC (Utah Valley State College)
in Orem, UT. He has worked so hard and will graduate
with over 65 College Credit hours through concurrent
college enrollment classes he has taken. He also
took every AP (Advanced Placement) class offered.
The Valedictorian is determined by a formula based on
the difficulty of classes. They no longer put all the
weight on the 4.0 GPA alone. It weights the classes
based on the difficulty. It took into account his 34 ACT
and his concurrent college class and AP classes taken.
Even with all the difficult classes he still will have a
3.96 GPA. We are proud of his accomplishment!
