 Gentry is a very talented musician on the guitar, piano / organ & saxophone. He is our ward organists at age 17 and performs flawlessly. He is gifted on the guitar and has picked it up only in the last couple of years.  He is also a talented student. He plans to attend BYU in the fall of 2006 and will get a scholarship there.  He also plays hockey very well and is in the top 10 in scoring each league. He loves to attend BYU Education week and Especially for Youth.
 

Above:  Gentry Receiving Sterling Scholar Award for his High School in Social Studies. He was also a finalist in Math, only one of 3 students in the 3,000 student High School to be nominated in more than one category. He scored 34 out of 36 on his ACT test, which was one of the highest in the High School. He will now compete in the State Sterling Scholar competition for Social Studies.  Gentry will attend BYU in the Fall of 2006.  The Last picture on the right is all of the Sterling Scholars from the 13 disciplines. Gentry thinks we are "overstating" his achievements. But we are proud of his academic achievements!
